 At the start of the day we all met in the hall

Here are our Senior Buddies teaching children from other schools how to use the ipads.

We were learning how to write a programme for the robots.

It was exciting working with the robots.

Movie Making was another activity to experience on the day.

Tagxedo was another great learning activity.

Thank you to the organising school - Peninsula Primary - for running such an enjoyable and worthwhile day.

Multicultural Festival

Yesterday, the Seniors went to Corban's to perform kapahaka.  First we got dressed in our costumes.  Next, we went on the bus to go to Corban's.  We had to wait until our turn. 

I felt nervous when it was our turn.  Then we went on stage to perform.  I felt proud because there was a lot of people watching us. 

Last we were sitting high up so we could watch other schools perform.

On our way back to school on the bus, the driver went over the bumps.  It made us bounce up high. 

I had a good day.

Ipads in Room 9

We really enjoy working with ipads in Room 9.  We mainly use them to support our Literacy Learning.  We make animations.  We video ourselves to improve our fluency in reading.  We work on different apps to improve our alphabet and sight word knowledge.  We enjoy listening to interactive books.

White Sunday

Yesterday I went to White Sunday.  It was awesome because, first, it was my turn.  Next, it was my cousin's and my turn.  Last, we ate McDonalds.  I felt happy because White Sunday is fun.

The Baby Shower

On Satuday, it was my sister's Baby Shower.  First, we played a game.  It was the lollie scramble game.  Next, the adults played their game.  Last, the people went home.  I felt happy because it was exciting.

A Wobbly Tooth

I had a wobbly tooth a long time ago and it was uncomfortable BUT at last I got it out and I got $1 and I spent it on a ball.  I felt happy because it was new.

My News

My brother had a wobbly tooth in the weekend.  He ate an apple and his tooth came out.  

He put it in the kitchen.  

He got $2.

Today I was sitting next to Rico and he pulled his tooth out.  Then Kome put his hand up and said that Rico had a wobbly tooth that came out.  Then Mrs Begum gave Rico a tissue so he can stick it in his bag and he went back on the mat.  Then I asked him if it was sore but he said, "No."  I felt happy because Rico's tooth came out.

In the weekend I got a skateboard at the car boot sale and it was fun and the children taught me how to do great tricks. This made me go fast and it was fun. I did a backflip.

In the weekend I played on my computer with my sister. It was fun on the computer and I got to play a batman game. It was easy. My cousin showed me how. I clocked the whole level. I beat my sister.

In the weekend I played with my car and I played with my truck at home. I can control it with my remote control.

In the weekend I bought a monkey at the car boot sale. My monkey had some stripes and my monkey was the colour purple and my monkey was very squeaky. It was a funny squeak. That was fun and I loved the car boot sale. I love Mrs Hohepa because she makes us happy because she makes us go on the mimio.
